Garden Tour 2026

Parking & Navigating

  • Parking on Fan side streets as available, except on West Avenue.
  • The GRTC Pulse Bus stopping at VCU/VUU is only a few blocks away. 
  • See the Greeter table for a map of open gardens or look for the Garden Open signs in the alleys.
  • Gardens may be accessed from the alleys between West and Park Avenues, and West Avenue and Frankin Street.

    Schedule

    12 noon - Children's Parade, 1100 block of West Avenue

    1 - 5 pm - Gardens Open

    What To Do

      • Enjoy kids’ activities in the 1100 (middle) block of West Avenue, which will be closed to traffic for this event. A bagpiper will lead a children’s flag parade at noon, followed by a Maypole dance and a Bouncy House. 
      • A scavenger hunt form will be available at the Greeter table.
      • Look for flags indicating an award has been earned by that Front or Back Garden or Tree Well during our friendly neighborhood competition.
      • Enjoy the Front Gardens and Tree Wells on Park, West and Franklin as well.
