Parking and Navigating:
- Parking on Fan side streets as available, except on West Avenue.
- The GRTC Pulse Bus stopping at VCU/VUU is only a few blocks away.
- See the Greeter table for a map of open gardens or look for the Garden Open signs in the alleys.
- Gardens may be accessed from the alleys between West and Park Avenues, and West Avenue and Frankin Street.
What To Do:
- Enjoy kids’ activities in the 1100 (middle) block of West Avenue, which will be closed to traffic for this event. A bagpiper will lead a children’s flag parade at noon, followed by a Maypole dance and a Bouncy House.
- A scavenger hunt form will be available at the Greeter table.
- Look for flags indicating an award has been earned by that Front or Back Garden or Tree Well during our friendly neighborhood competition.
- Enjoy the Front Gardens and Tree Wells on Park, West and Franklin as well.
